My Series

This is my series. I have stitched three images together in the style of Duane Michals using Photoshop. I also added a Black & White adjustment layer so that my images are monochrome in homage to Michals. I chose to have my images denote a simple narrative and chose to have my model walk up a flight of stairs as this is an obvious movement within the three separate frames. When framing my images, I tried to ensure that they were as similar as possible in order to better relate to Michals’ work. I chose this location as I think the bend in the staircase makes it slightly more interesting.
